By assembling OSCA proteins into nanophospholipid disks and liposomes to simulate the mechanical environment, the three-dimensional conformation of the activation state of OSCA proteins was captured, the molecular mechanism of their mechanical activation was elucidated, and a novel form of ion pore composition with phospholipid arrangement was discovered.
